I had the opportunity to interview Allan Lichtman, an award winning political analyst best known for his “13 Keys to the White House,” which has allowed him to accurately predict almost every single presidential election correctly since 1984. His model doesn’t use campaign-based prediction, instead relying on 13 true or false statements relating to the incumbent party’s previous term. He gained incredible popularity after being one of the only mainstream election predictors to correctly predict a Trump win in 2016, and from there he has authored many books, made numerous media appearances, and has been a high profile keynote speaker.
